A British Bigfoot at YouTube? A Hoax? You Decide...

I was alerted earlier today to this piece of footage that was posted at YouTube, and that was supposedly taken in Britain's Peak District. From the accents of the people present, it sounds like they are from the Stoke-on-Trent/Rugeley/Stafford areas of Staffordshire. The film briefly shows something man-like in the woods.

Of course, You-Tube is full of films like this...

Interesting footage, shame about the quality. What are you first impressions of this?

Well...it's interesting. But, if you listen at the 26-30 second mark, they make a joke about seeing a Yeti. And that's before they film whatever "it" is.

Plus, I think with so many of these types of films (mainly from the US though) on You Tube of supposed Bigfoot-style creatures filmed in shaky camera movement in the woods (many of which are clear fakes), it's pretty much impossible to have an unbiased approach to it.

What i find strange is that near the end of the video when it shows the stil frames of the creature it looks similar to the illustration on this site.
Also I e-mailed the person who posted the video and he swore that it was real, and said that some people living in the area have also claimed to have seen it.

There have indeed been other reports in the Peak District; I know of 3 others - 1 in the 80s and 2 in the 90s.

It's definitely not the image at my blog! LOL. That picture was specifically drawn for me about 4 weeks ago to post here.

But, the drawing is based on witness accounts.

The footage is definitely interesting though.
