There's a great book on the subject by Affleck Gray, though unfortunately when you dig into the man-beast sightings are very thin on the ground- there's the famous one made by the guy in camping at the summit, but other than that most reports are of a vague grey figure, and some even of a giant highlander. It's definitely a very strange place.
Yeah, it's definitely more of a shadowy thing than a more straightforward flesh-and-blood figure. Definitely a weird place!
